Muddifords Court Country House is a breathtaking venue inside and out. With beautiful grounds, a lovely Georgian barn for your ceremony and a courtyard which is a great space for everyone to mingle – this venue has it all. This country house is a dream for a wedding photographer, with so many beautiful spots and, if you’re lucky, a wonderful warm glow as the sun sets.
The Venue
Muddifords Court Country House has a huge range of facilities to make your wedding day totally perfect. It has two barns licensed for civil ceremonies: The Cider Barn which seats 120 guests and The Shippen, a multi-function room that can seat 125 and hold 200+ guests for the reception. The venue also has two bars on site for when the evening celebrations start, as well as a range of accommodation, from quirky shepherd huts to stunning, individually-decorated rooms within the house itself.
Every event held here is completely bespoke so you can select exactly what you require for your wedding.

What made the wedding so special?
“Samina and Will’s wedding day was beautiful and completely full of love and happiness. The weather was behaving and we had some beautiful blue skies with bright white clouds and a wonderful sunset to finish off the day, along with a Go Pro fitted to a bottle of tequila to film everyone taking a swig! What a great idea!”
Favourite things about the day?
“Instead of having a wedding cake, the bride and groom cut a beautiful cheesecake before their first dance and family and friends made a selection of cakes that were all put out on a table for everyone to enjoy.
Choosing Muddifords was one of the wonderful choices made by this gorgeous couple on their wedding day as it provided us with the perfect setting to capture some stunning imagery.
